Brandon "Bulldog" Altmeyer
This site is dedicated to Brandon Altmeyer's motorcycle road racing career. In 2004 Brandon, at age 7, was one of the youngest racers in both CMRA and TMGP organizations. Over the years Brandon has worked with several local Experts and Professional racers to help improve his riding. Riders such as Joe Persianno, Shea Focheck, Bubba Shobert and Doug Polen. Brandon's drive and determination fuel his fire and passion to race and win on the track. As an expert racer Brandon will be racing with Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA), United States Grand Prix Racers Union (USGPRU) and Western Eastern Roadracing Association (WERA) for the 2010 race season.
Brandon's racing history and highlights
2004 - 2006: Raced with CMRA and TMGP in the Jr. Motard class. During these 3 years Brandon finished on the podium 14 times with CMRA and 7 times with TMGP.
2007 - Moved up to Formula 6 and Formula 5 mini sprint classes with CMRA. Placed 2nd over all in the Championship in the Formula 6 class with 3 podium finishes. Brandon was a late addition to a Formula 4 mini endurance and the team was ranked 6th in class and 7th over all for the year.
2008 - Brandon won the CMRA Formula 7 mini sprint championship with a perfect season with 10 podium finishes out of 10 races. Brandon also co-rode to help win the CMRA Formula 7 endurance championship with 6 podium finishes out of 6 races. Raced CMRA Formula 4 mini sprints with 2 podium finishes and finished 6th overall in the class.
2009 - Brandon suffered a serious crash early in the season resulting in surgery and missing half the season. This season was his first year racing at the expert level and the first year on his Honda RS125 GP bike. He still had great results in the races he raced in with most placing in the top 10. Over all in the championship he placed 12th in the 125 class, 13th in the Light Weight Twins class and 11th in the Formula 2 class.
Brandon also participated in the Formula 4 mini class where he pulled in 5 podium finishes out of 6 races with a 9th place overall. Brandon was also an addition to a one-off endurance team for Elite Trackdays riding a rented Ninja 250 for an 8 hour endurance race. The team placed 2nd overall in the race.
